Tonk Game Rules:

Players and Cards

• Tonk can be played with 2 or 3 players.
• Each player is dealt 5 cards in a clockwise direction.
• A standard pack of 52 cards is used. The point values for each card are as follows: Ace - 1 point, 2 - 2 points, 3 - 3 points, 4 - 4 points, 5 - 5 points, 6 - 6 points, 7 - 7 points, 8 - 8 points, 9 - 9 points, 10 - 10 points, J - 11 points, Q - 12 points, K - 13 points.

Gameplay

1. Normal turn consist of two parts:
Draw: Start by taking one card from either the face-up or face-down pile. Discard: Complete your turn by discarding one card from your hand.
2. The goal of the game is to get rid of all your cards by spreading sets or sequences.
3. You can also get rid of cards by "hitting" opponents' spreads.

Knocking

1. You can choose to knock at any time.
2. If you knock, the player with the least points wins that round.
3. If you put down a new spread or hit someone's spread with an additional card, you cannot knock on your next turn.
4. If you have no cards in your hand at any point during the game, you automatically win without needing to knock.

Tonk

1. If any player's initial hand contains either exactly 49 or exactly 50 points, they are declared the winner (Tonk) and must show their cards.
2. If multiple players have either exactly 49 or exactly 50 points in their initial hand, the hand is considered a draw.

End of the Game

1. If any player's initial hand contains either exactly 49 or exactly 50 points, they automatically win the game and receive twice the basic stake from each other player. If multiple players have either 49 or 50 points, the hand is a draw with no payments.
2. If a player gets rid of all their cards without making a final discard, they instantly win the game and receive double the stake from each other player.
3. If a player runs out of cards by discarding their last card, they win the game and receive the basic stake.
4. When you knock and have the lowest point count, you win the game.
5. When you knock and do not have the lowest point count, you lose the game and must pay double the basic stake to all players with an equal or lower count.
6. If the stock runs out, the player with the lowest point count wins the game.
